Summer is almost here and so is Race to Alis Alari!

I’m finally back to working on my writing. 2020 was a hard year for us all and I found it difficult to write. I separated from my husband in the middle of the pandemic and am still waiting for the final divorce papers. So, my brain just hasn’t been in a creative mode. Recently, the creative juices have started to flow and I’m outlining Book 7 of Hypnotic Journey.

This book takes place many years after Hopper returned to the real world and Cabal finally won’t Sarah’s heart. The focus on the children of their romance as well as Jack and Nicole’s twins. Here’s a quick run-through of the basic plot:

Findalyn, elf princess of Dalendalei is finally old enough to take her younger siblings through the Northern Mountains to visit the legendary floating kingdom of Alis Alari. But when her father, King Cabal declares that Prince Raichant, the youngest son of the Woodland Kingdom will accompany them, Flynn feels slighted. This was her trip to manage, not to share with her older brother’s best friend Raichant. It doesn’t take long for Flynn to discover the connection between them. Raichant is betrothed to Princess Taeraelle of Alis Alari and Flynn's father is urging her to commit to a union with Taeraelle’s brother Prince Ayre. To Ayre’s credit, he was an incredibly handsome, powerful elf any female would easily swoon over, but Flynn wasn’t ready to commit to anyone. Even with the lure of one day becoming the queen of the most powerful elf kingdom in the land. Still, Raichant was a kind, good-natured soul and he wasn’t one to force his will upon anyone, so she’d tolerate him during the journey. But when it came time to return, she alone would take her siblings back home. It was her right of passage to make this trip alone with them. Little did Flynn know the likely hood of surviving long enough to return home was growing smaller with each approaching hour. The thousand-year swarm of the mysterious warrior race, the Dern was approaching 500 years too soon. None of the kingdoms were prepared.
