Talking to Kids is a picture book series designed to help make the difficult discussions between parents and kids just a little easier. Book 1 is called Samantha Goes To The Hospital. It tells the true story of a little girl undergoing a tendon transplant in both of her feet. The story takes us through casts and wheelchairs and beyond to recovery. It tells kids it's okay to be scared because this is something new, but you're surrounded by people who love you so you're going to be okay.
